A boy suddenly has to live with a
new woman and girls to be part of his family, strangers for him. His
strict dad is in great love with his new wife and wants things to work,
especially regarding the privacy issues for a preteen boy in an era
when children's privacy was not a big deal, especially for boys.

Future Boy Daniel

Motivated by looking at how things
are changing in our society, the “politically correct” ideas and all
that, I imagine in a future that things keeps growing and growing in
that direction, to the point where a young boy around 10, genius and so
qualified being “the boss” of other scientist/engineer in a time
machine project. Because of an accident with the time machine, both end
some decades ago from our present time (maybe 70s or 60s) in a small
conservative town with old fashioned ideas about children. When the
machine can be repaired and they can return, the adult is in love with
the place, and decides to stay there, forcing the child genius to
remain keeping unwillingly the “roleplay” as his son.

New Mom
As most
of my stories this happens in the 70s/60s. If you are young for you
nowdays child nudity is the greater taboo, but generations ago, before
the 80s child nudity were considered unimportant and asexual, more
regarding boy. As a Gen X guy growing in LA “mixes
families” were rare, now the norm, so for me was interesting
exploring the feelings of a boy suddenly having to live with a new
woman and girl to be part of his family, strangers for him, but his
strict dad in great love with his new wife and wanting things to work,
more in a time when mixed families were rare and not seen with good
eyes. Especially regarding the privacy issues for a preteen boy in an
era when the children privacy were not a big deal, especially boys.

of my stories this happens
in the 70s/60s. If you are young for you nowdays child nudity is the
greater taboo, but generations ago, before the 80s child nudity were
considered unimportant and asexual, more regarding boy. This was
inspired in the movie The Bad Seed that impressed me. A crazy psychotic
girl but clever enough to trap an older boy, and an also evil
psychiatrist woman following “the game” in an era
when radical
treatments and radical psychiatric trends were common.

In the
distant future, Genesis IV is truly the "planet of children." All of
the human inhabitants have been genetically altered to stop growing at
age 10; even at adult age they are "children" forever. When the
Galactic Federation becomes desirous of a valuable resource on the
planet, it invades and quickly conquers the planet. All of the
"children" are dispersed to adoptive families throughout the
federation. The federation is a society that believes that children
need to be subjected to strict discipline, including corporal
punishment. Additionally, the adults have little regard for nor see the
need for modesty in children. Unfortunately for the adoptees, both
these concepts clash with the values and traditions of their own

The
Visitors from Utopia
Ten year
old Daniel lives in the far future in an utopian society where corporal
punishment is outlawed, modesty is strongly ingrained, and children are
treated as equals to adults in all ways. But one day, when
working in the lab with his adult assistant August, one of his
inventions malfunctions and he and August are transported back to the
year 1975. August wants to stay, Daniel doesn't - especially
as he's having a hard time adapting to common practices of the time
