Rebecca Pulaski pulled a reluctant Paul Beaufort along with her as she set off through the waters of Lake Tallahatchie, heading to shallower water, so as to quicken her speed in getting down the lake, to the naked tween girls, Lilli Grace and Lisa Beaufort.

Although Paul was very interested in the two naked tween girls, he was not as keen as Rebecca to get a closer look and check out exactly what was happening, due to the fact that he was as bare naked as Lilli and Lisa. So Paul begged Rebecca to allow him to go get his swimming shorts from the Pulaski’s BBQ area before going down the lake to where the two naked tween girls were situated, but Rebecca refused with her usual answer, “Little boys don’t need to be modest!”

Rebecca didn’t just enter shallower water, but came ashore and walked briskly along the shoreline of Lake Tallahatchie past many groups of city visitors, who had set up for a barbecue and swim. Paul could see many of those visitors reacting to his naked status as Rebecca hurried him along.

When Paul was about half way to the naked tweens, Mrs. Palmer, one of Paul’s neighbours from across the road from his house, came jogging towards him. She emerged from along a forest path and turning, began to jog along the lake foreshore, just in front of him.

“Paul Beaufort, you’re naked!” exclaimed Tammy Palmer, for whom Paul regularly mowed her lawn, for which she paid him generously

“Your parents agreed to this? Knowing them so well, I’m totally surprised they allowed you to be naked like this!” said Ms Palmer.

“My parents left for France today, Ms Palmer. Grandma and Grandpa Beaufort are in charge until they return.” informed Paul as he quickly covered up his genitals with both his hands.

“Ma’am, Paul is naked because his grandparents who are looking after him while his parents are away in France, agree with my parents that it is no big deal to see a boy naked. So it’s perfectly normal for him to be nude here at the lake!” interjected Rebecca “It’s a common saying of my Mumma that, Little boys don’t need excessive modesty! So it’s not like Paul is special and needs extra modesty, especially as he is very much still a little boy, as you can clearly see.”

Rebecca then noticed that Paul was covering up and ordered him to stop doing so. "Paul Beaufort, stop covering up like that! You are only thirteen, boys your age have no need to be so modest. Covering up is not proper behaviour for little boys."

"But … but Rebecca, Ms Palmer is my neighbour, she shouldn’t see what I look like naked."

"Don’t you BUT me, Paul Beaufort, nobody cares if they see you naked, you’re just a boy, so let Ms Palmer see what you look like bare!”

Following Rebecca’s strong rebuke, Paul reluctantly dropped his arms to his sides, totally exposing his bare body to Ms Palmer.

“Well I never! I must confess that I’m very surprised that at his age, Paul’s not more developed! I guess I thought that he’d be more … well … bigger and hairier! But surely, despite his lack of development, it’s not right for him to be naked in public like this. I’ve known Paul for years, but I’ve never ever seen him totally naked.”

“Why is it not right?” responded Rebecca.

“Well, it’s just that boys and girls are never seen naked in public, except when very young.” replied Ms Palmer.

“You’re right as far as a girl is concerned, but my Mumma’s rule is that all boys, both young and when teenagers, have no need to be modest, unlike a girl and so can be seen naked.” Rebecca explained.

“Well I am still shocked! Robert and Jocelyn, Paul’s parents, have never hinted at anything like this occurring, whenever I have been with them!” responded Tammy Palmer. She then looked at Rebecca, then at the naked Paul, shrugged her shoulders, excused herself and as she jogged off, said with a smirk, “Very nice to see so much of you today, after having known you for such a long time. Maybe that should be your new uniform from now on when mowing my lawn. I think I will make a point of discussing that with your Grandparents, when I meet them!”

No sooner had Ms Palmer jogged off, when Paul heard his name mentioned from the nearest barbecue. Accompanying a large group of adults were an equally large group of children and amongst that group, three of the eldest were eighth graders from Paul and Rebecca’s grade at school, Debbie Foster, Todd Austin and Wayne Ridell.

It was Todd who said loud enough for Paul and Rebecca as well as everyone else at the barbecue to hear, “Wow, that naked boy is Paul Beaufort! He still looks like a little boy!”

Paul was scarlet with embarrassment as his previously most guarded secret was revealed to his classmates. He hung his head in shame and humiliation and desperately wanted to cover up again, but he knew Rebecca would order him to stop covering up, yet again.

“No way I’d ever allow myself to be naked in public like that!” exclaimed Wayne.

“Oh I wouldn’t mind it at all Wayne if you bared all and joined Paul. You’re always bragging about your body, I would love to see exactly what you actually have got!” Debbie taunted.

Rebecca picked up on Debbie’s taunt and replied, “Wayne, If you were my boyfriend like Paul here, or in my family, you would be subject to my Mumma’s rule that all boys, both young and even when teenagers, have no need to be modest and so can be seen naked, unlike a girl!”

“What! No way! My mom or dad would never make me get naked in public like that” exclaimed a blushing Wayne, causing Debbie and Todd to giggle at his embarrassed reaction.

One of the slightly younger girls present at the barbecue made a comment loud enough for everyone present to hear, “I wish our parents would, it would be so cool to see the high and mighty Wayne Ridell stripped bare naked like Paul!”

“What are you giggling about Todd, the rule would apply to you as well!” added Rebecca, causing Todd to blush nearly as much as Wayne.

Paul glanced over at Wayne’s sister and saw the look of amusement on her face at her brother Wayne and his friend Todd’s uncomfortable reactions. Another girl moved over to her and whispered into her ear. Both the girls smiled and giggled.

Unfortunately for Paul, both girls amusement greatly increased when their eyes moved from Wayne and then Todd’s bodies to his own. Their eyes were immediately roaming his naked body, staring at his face one moment and his bald groin the next. They both said nothing at first and just stood gawping, taking in the fact that eighth grader, Paul Beaufort was bare naked and amazed that his pubic area was still completely smooth, without a trace of pubic hair and that his genitals were still boyishly small. Finally the second girl mused out loud, “I wonder if my brother Todd looks like a little boy still?

“Well Wayne has pit hairs, that I do know, so I suspect both our brothers are more developed than this little boy!”

“Maybe, maybe not as far as Todd goes!” responded the second girl. “I know my brother doesn’t have any pit hair yet, so maybe he is as bald elsewhere as his classmate Paul!”

Both girls then giggled again , whilst everyone else present, both adult and child, looked on with amusement and some adults, with more than a passing interest in the discussion and developing scene before them.

Rebecca and Paul had created quite an impact on those at the barbecue and left some of the adults with thoughts about their children and public nudity that they had never considered before.

Rebecca was keen to move on and get down the lake to the naked Lilli Grace and Lisa Beaufort, as she was desperate to find out why two girls at their age, were naked in public, as such female nudity was so totally against all the upbringing that Rebecca had ever received from her parents.
